I put one of the gold bracelets on and the beads went everywhere the other one hold up just fine and so did the colored one but now I’m down a braceletThe "gold" color faded only after wearing it twice.The gold came off after wearing it 3 times. Do not buy it is cheapGot to wear these bracelets 1 time before they changed colors and I could no longer wear them. Now back to trying to find better quality ones.The stretchy gold balls turned brown the minute I walked out into the salty air.Hmmm. These bracelets contradict each other. Most of the beaded ones are too tight and the chain ones are enormously large. Otherwise, they look cute – and cute together. One beaded bracelet is VERY comfortable as it fits without making indents on my skin. That one has 33 beads (I counted) and the others have 32 – it makes a BIG difference! Anyone who makes stretchy bracelets knows that they should never be tight on your skin. Maybe only good for very petite people with tiny wrists – pre-teens? The chains on the other hand are ginormous! I can literally put them on and take them off – easily – without opening the clasp. They literally fall off my wrists & hands. As they are made you can’t really just link the lobster on another link. : ( What is going on with this set?Not all is lost but it will be some work for me. First, I am going to cut two oblong links off of each chain and reattach the jump ring – it will still leave the bracelets lose looking but will at least then fit on my wrist. For three of the beaded ones I am going to open them up and restring them with my own stretchy string (well two of them as the third will not have enough beads on its own once cannibalized to make the others fit properly). After my handiwork at least I will have 5 bracelets I can actually wear and some spare beads for other projects – plus they will look nice. They are very lightweight and don't "hang" on their own - they just sort of sit there in whatever shape.I know these don’t cost a lot, but the beaded bracelets still feel really cheap. The chain bracelets are fine, but the beaded ones feel like painted plastic. Again, you get what you pay for, but you can probably find stainless steel bracelets for just a little bit more than don’t feel so light. They could be a fun gift for a teen who just wants some costume jewelry.
